Peugeot is preparing to recruit 450 employees
Monday, November 29th, 2010When the giant Renault is launching an early retirement plan for retirement of 3000 employees, Peugeot is preparing him to recruit 450 employees, reports BFM.In fact, the automaker is betting on a lasting success of its new hatchback, the Peugeot 508. And to fulfill orders, the group must increase production and stocks of Peugeot Citroën factory in Rennes dedicated to high end. Thus, the 450 new employees will form the third team that will enable SAP to run its plant 24 hours 24.
The new Peugeot 508 already has nearly 500 orders in France, a first for such a model from Peugeot.
In contrast, Renault is setting up a retirement plan early retirement under the hardship, which will be eligible 3,000 employees over three years. But the group does not appear ready to recruit the same number of employees. Thus, the unions believe it is “a rundown. The manufacturer recognizes that it must “manage a sub-activity.” More details will follow next December 7.
